National Mimosa Day is Saturday, May 16, and you bet your bubbles we are making plans. Here are some of our favorite spots to enjoy brunch and bubbles on one of our favorite holidays in May.

Corinne

Celebrate National Mimosa Day with Corinne’s “Mimosa Me Crazy,” made with sparkling wine, orange and guava juice. Whether enjoying a sunny day on the patio or gathering with friends in the lively restaurant, Corinne’s weekend brunch is served every Saturday and Sunday from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Indulge in savory sharables, classic and creative breakfast dishes and hearty salads and sandwiches alongside fresh-pressed juices, all perfectly paired with a refreshing mimosa.

Salita

A choose-your-own-buzz experience that flexes from day to night, Salita is Bonanno Concepts’ glam, Italian-inspired café in Cap Hill. Salita offers two for $12 mimosas or a pitcher for $48 with a choice of orange or pineapple juice. Pair with the rotating pancake of the weekend during brunch for the perfect start to the day. Fox and the Hen

Brunch is a serious business at Fox and the Hen, the daytime concept from Bravo Top Chef Season 15 finalist and James Beard semi-finalist Chef Carrie Baird and entrepreneur Michael Fox. The menu includes huevos rancheros that famously beat Bobby Flay, “animal-style” hashbrowns and a lineup of signature fancy toasts. To wash it all down, mimosas come three ways: by the glass with your choice of pineapple, orange, grapefruit or cranberry juices; in a flight featuring cucumber and kiwi, lavender and lemon, beet and orange and one surprise flavor; or by the bottle for the table. Brunch is served daily from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Learn more at foxandthehendenver.com and make a reservation on OpenTable.

Bar Dough

For Italian-inspired brunch in Denver, Bar Dough is the spot. The menu includes breakfast pizza, pasta and standout sandwiches, including the HBCB (honey butter fried chicken, pepperoncini, hot sauce and a housemade biscuit) and the Rye Guy & Pastrami (housemade rye, bison pastrami, fontina, giardiniera and 1000 island sauerkraut), alongside brunch classics like biscuits and gravy and eggs benedict. Mimosas are available by the glass with a choice of orange, grapefruit, pineapple or cranberry juice, in a flight or as part of a bottomless deal for $30. Brunch is available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the weekends. Learn more at bardoughdenver.com and make a reservation on OpenTable.

Leven Deli

Leven Deli Co.’s Golden Triangle location offers mimosas made with Kila cava and a choice of orange, grapefruit or hibiscus juice. Mimosas are $9 every day and $8 on weekend happy hour (all day Saturday and Sunday). Even better, it also does a mimosa quartet — a bottle of cava with juice choice and four glasses for $28 — perfect for a celebratory weekday breakfast or weekend brunch with scratch-made fare like the jalapeño honey breakfast sandwich and smoked salmon toast. Local Jones

Vinyl Brunch Sundays at Local Jones captures the spirit and energy of a classic bistro with the combination of food, wine and music. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., vinyl spins while beverages flow, including mimosa service. From $64-$125, guests can select their preferred bubbles with a mixer from traditional (orange or grapefruit juice) to bellinis or Kir Royale. Plus, enjoy house-made monkey bread or biscuit sliders for the table and French toast, pancakes, savory egg dishes and more. More information and reservations can be found at localjones.com.

Maria Empanada

Fresh-squeezed orange juice is incredibly popular in Buenos Aires, with oranges being the most popular fruit consumed in Argentina. Maria Empanada brings that tangy slice of Argentine culture to Denver at its cafes; its Broadway and Riverview locations boast machines that press fresh OJ to order. Of course, a mimosa made with freshly squeezed orange juice is the best mimosa, and Maria Empanada’s is the perfect complement to Maria Empanada’s Argentine-style empanadas, especially breakfast-friendly flavors like bacon, egg and cheese. Learn more at mariaempanada.com.

Olive & Finch Union Station

Olive & Finch’s Union Station location recently launched bottomless brunch every Sunday! Enjoy endless mimosas for three hours (made with Olive & Finch’s own cold-pressed orange juice) for just $21. Pair with the fan-favorite Bogota Hash, which includes chorizo, roasted sweet and white potatoes, red peppers, caramelized onions, cheddar cheese and kale. Learn more at oliveandfinch.com.
