Holiday Activities

Beginning Thursday, Nov. 2, Halcyon, a hotel in Cherry Creek, invites guests to Denver’s only rooftop skating rink for Halcyon on Ice, an ice-skating experience in the clouds. While ice skating on the hotel’s rooftop, guests can also enjoy hot beverages, decadent bites, plush blankets, relaxing tunes, and breathtaking views of the Mile High City. For $30, guests have access to a two-hour rink pass and one pair of skates. Winterized cabanas are also available to reserve for an elevated winter skating experience for $150 and include hand warmers and hot cocoa for up to six guests ($100 food and beverage minimum required). Escape the cold this holiday season and head to the gorgeous coastal paradise of Tulum, Mexico, to celebrate the most festive time of the year in beautiful 75-degree weather. Adjacent boutique sister resorts The Beach Tulum and Cabanas Tulum Beach Hotel and Spa serve as welcoming havens for rest and relaxation just steps from the area’s most popular shops and restaurants. Known for its vibrant nightlife, Tulum becomes even more festive during Christmastime, with celebrations taking place throughout the month of December and into January, making this one of the most desirable times to visit the bohemian beach destination.
