Meet Kelsey Osborn:

Since last November, Kelsey has been an integral member of our team, serving as our talented full–time digital content creator. With a diverse background in graphic design and a passion for the world of social media and influencer marketing, Kelsey brings a fresh perspective to our dynamic team.

In 2017, she made the decision to move from Breckenridge to Denver, where she and her now husband found themselves enchanted by the city’s culinary scene. This led to the creation of a food Instagram account documenting their new adventures in the Mile High City. What started as just an Instagram to keep track of where they have eaten in the Denver area, soon gained a significant following. This passion culminated into a fantastic connection with BPR, which ultimately paved the way for her full-time role to support clients with the ever-evolving digital landscape and the need for quality video content.

  • What drew you to PR, social or influencers?

The social world always intrigued me! It is ever changing and always keeps you on your toes and relevant. Being an influencer is one side of social but learning about it from the business side has been even more interesting.

  • What excites you most about joining BPR?

The Team! Working we so many talented women that all have such different backgrounds and experience. You learn something new every day!

  • When you’re not working, you’re _______?

Trying to find a killer happy hour with a good dry rosé . Attending food and lifestyle events through the blog. Getting my butt kicked by Tunde on the Peloton.

  • Any secret talents or fun facts?

I run a Colorado food Instagram account with over 19,000 followers!

  • Top bucket list item? Why?

To visit Italy! The food, wine and culture are all calling my name.

  • Favorite restaurant/meal of all time?

This is REALLY hard! Matunuck Oyster Bar in Wakefield, RI

  • What’s your favorite part about working in the tourism/hospitality industry?

Every day is different and a lot of knowledge is gained by working with so many different clients.

Meet Taylor Midghall:

Born and raised in the vibrant city of Portland, Oregon, Taylor has always embraced her innate creativity. From her early years finger painting and dancing around the living room, to pursuing performance and competitive dance in various styles during middle and high school, she thrived in a community that celebrated the arts. As she entered the University of Oregon, her fascination with journalism and communications grew, and her interest in social media and influencer marketing blossomed, particularly during the pandemic when she began nurturing her own social channel as a form of creative expression. Joining BPR presents an exciting opportunity for her to contribute her creative talents and collaborate with like-minded professionals who are passionate about producing exceptional work as a team.

  • What drew you to social media and influencers?

I enjoy being creative and I like brainstorming fun, collaborative ideas and reviewing data. I’m drawn to influencer marketing because I enjoy connecting with influencers to generate creative, engaging content and I like understanding a brand’s mission, image, and impact they’re hoping to make. I appreciate the duality of influencer marketing and as someone who dabbles in being an influencer, I like being on the brand side of it as well!

  • What excites you most about joining BPR?

I previously worked at a really small company where I just worked directly with the founder. I’m so excited to be included in a company that values community, collaboration and producing good work as a team!

  • When you’re not working, you’re _______?

Either at a Pilates class or binge-watching/reading whatever my latest obsession is.

  • Top bucket list item? Why?

I’d love to visit Korea with my mom and sister someday. I’m half-Korean and I’ve always had a desire to explore that side of my culture more, and it’d be really special to experience that with my mom and sister too.

  • Favorite restaurant/meal of all time?

My boyfriend, also named Taylor (I know), is an amazing cook and often can chef up whatever I’m craving better than a restaurant can. But! I have never been wowed by a meal more than my experience at Quaintrelle in Portland, Oregon. We got the tasting menu while dining there and everything was fabulous. It was fun to be surprised each course!

  • What’s your favorite part about working in the tourism/hospitality industry?

I’ve always had a desire to help others and do good work. I grew up working in various food and hospitality jobs throughout high school and college, and it’s rewarding to have worked my way up and still be connected to this industry, yet in a different way. I also consider myself to be a forever learner, so it excites me that this industry is always changing and allows for creativity!

Heather Dratler

Prior to joining BPR, Heather served as Vice President of Marketing & Brand Integrity for Sage Restaurant Concepts, part of Sage Hospitality Group, overseeing all marketing, public relations, social media, and brand-related functions for the portfolio of 50 restaurants, bars and coffeeshops nationwide. Previously an agency veteran for more than a decade, Heather has a reputation for strong execution and creativity.

Throughout her career, she has developed, managed and executed integrated strategies for clients in a wide variety of industries, with a focus on travel, hospitality, restaurants, F&B and general consumer brands.

  • What is your brief background?

Prior to joining BPR as the VP of Brand Engagement, I had been in hospitality marketing for 15+ years, starting at leading agencies in NYC, DC and Portland, OR before going in-house with a local restaurant company.

  • What drew you to the PR/social media industry?

I was originally drawn to PR because of my love of writing and childhood dream of working in or with the media. From there I fell in love with all aspects of brand and marketing, specifically for the hospitality industry where we work to create great experiences that bring people joy and memorable moments.

  • What excites you most about joining BPR?

Joining a team of badass women and an agency that’s so well-known and respected in the hospitality scene.

  • When you’re not working, you’re _______?

Traveling, exploring new restaurants, hiking or hanging out with my husband and five pets.

  • Any secret talents or fun facts?

Cheese-mongering. A few years ago, I learned how to make homemade mozzarella, burrata, farmer’s cheese, goat cheese and more from scratch! It’s an art and a science. I also play the piano and figure skated for 16 years.

  • Top bucket list item?

Scandinavian road trip. I fell in love with the area on a trip to Sweden’s ICEHOTEL in the arctic circle in 2018 and I’d love to leisurely explore the local culture and New Nordic cuisine of each country in the region.

  • Favorite restaurant/meal of all time?

Ox in Reykjavik is a Michelin-starred restaurant-within-a-restaurant where every course tells a story. The space is intimate, and the meal is served by just the two chefs behind the counter, so it’s a unique and personal experience. There’s a rye bread they cook by burying it in the ground and letting Iceland’s geothermal steam do the baking!

  • What’s your favorite part about working in the tourism/hospitality industry?

People in the hospitality industry take care of our own. It’s one of the few industries with such camaraderie that you can visit any hospitality establishment and once they know you are industry, you’re treated like a top VIP, and you do the same in return when given the chance! That reciprocal care is also seen when times get tough, like during the pandemic.

As we introduce the new faces at B Public Relations, we celebrate not only the expansion of our team but also the bright future that lies ahead. Embracing diversity, industry expertise and fresh perspectives, we are poised to take our agency to new heights.
