MEET BPR’S MOST RECENT HIRE, HALLE!

After joining Team B in June as an intern, we’re excited to welcome Halle Jones to the team full-time as a Social & Digital Media Account Coordinator.

Born and raised in the Midwest, Halle recently graduated from the University of Minnesota where she earned a degree in Strategic Communications and Journalism. With a love for the outdoors, adventure and good food, her move to Colorado earlier this year was inevitable.

Prior to joining the team at BPR, Halle spent a summer in London working at a boutique PR agency, where she represented luxury clients including Versace, Raymond Weil and Salvatore Ferragamo. She has also spent time developing social media content and strategy for various organizations in the non-profit and educational sector.

When she’s not creating content calendars for clients or organizing her own personal calendar, Halle is likely spending time in the mountains, drinking too much coffee or visiting friends and family back home.  Here’s a little bit more about Halle, in her words:

About what aspect of joining BPR are you most excited?
I get to spend my days at an office full of girl bosses, dogs, candy and wine. I’m pretty confident it doesn’t get any better than that!

Favorite restaurant or happy hour (or undiscovered):
TBD … It’s too soon for me to claim a favorite, but I’m on the hunt for the best Moscow mule around town.

Any secret talents we should know about?
If yard games can be considered a talent, yard games. If not, parallel parking.

What is at the top of your bucket list?
Thailand and Argentina are tied for first right now.

What is your favorite place to which you have traveled?
I visited Napa Valley with my mom earlier this summer and fell in love. She was embarrassed that I was always bringing home Barefoot, and insisted I have better wine standards.

If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go right now?
Back home to South Dakota to visit my friends and family (but mostly to snuggle my niece and nephew)!

What is your favorite thing about living in Colorado?
I have been taking full advantage of how accessible the mountains are. I have yet to spend a weekend in Denver since moving here!

What is the most spontaneous thing you have ever done?
I drove 15 hours to Colorado from Minnesota on a whim with my roommates, where I met up with a boy I had a crush on my freshman year. Years later, said boy eventually convinced me to make another spontaneous decision and move to Colorado!

Aside from the necessities, what one thing could you not go a day without?
Dark chocolate, no doubt about it.

If you could only have one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Something full of carbs and cheese – with dark chocolate for dessert, of course.
