Senior Manager, Social + Digital Media

A successful Senior Manager, Social + Digital Media is a strategic, creative leader who can balance big-picture thinking with hands-on execution to deliver measurable results across multiple client brands. This role is responsible for developing, managing and growing clients’ organic and paid social media programs, cultivating engaged online communities, and identifying meaningful partnerships and collaborations that align with each brand’s voice and objectives. 

Qualifications

  • 4-8 years of experience working in the social and/or digital media fields. Tourism or hospitality industry, and/or agency experience required – both preferred.  
  • Strong ability to understand the intricacies of multiple brands (5-10 on average), each of their individual voices and brand aesthetics and use that understanding to identify and secure the best potential partners/meaningful collaborations. 
  • Knowledge and experience using key social media and reputation management channels for businesses, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, X, Threads, LinkedIn, TripAdvisor and Yelp. 
  • Ability to successfully negotiate partnerships and deliver a win/win solution for both parties.
  • Excellent writing and grammatical skills, experience in content creation and proficiency in AP Style. 
 
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills; collaborative nature. 
 
  • Creative thinker who enjoys coming up with new ideas; improving upon the tried-and-true. 
 
  • Proactive and organized, ability to balance multiple projects concurrently, prioritize and take ownership of projects and relationships. 
 
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment. 
 
  • Proven ability to develop, build and grow clients’ online communities and channels with meaningful and engaged followers.
  • Experience with paid social media strategy and content creation required.  
  • This position is located in Denver, CO.  

Duties & Responsibilities

Account/Client Management: 

  • Work with account teams to maintain consistent communication with clients as it relates to social media (and occasional influencer) programs; solve problems and provide strategic insight and planning. 
  • Work with internal team to develop effective strategy and produce consistent results specifically relating to organic/paid social media – setting and meeting goals, meeting and beating deadlines and anticipating client needs. 
  • Attend in-person meetings and events (or regular virtual meetings) with clients and lead review of sections on the agenda that align with your day-to-day initiatives. 
  • Be a creative thinker who can brainstorm innovative ideas/strategies to support brand initiatives with a focus on influencers and consumer engagement. 

  • Act as a liaison between company and social media clients, answering questions, providing strategic advice and ensuring overall client satisfaction. 

 

Daily Social & Digital Media Tasks: 

  • Keep abreast of each client’s industry, competition and related social media presences. 
  • Create, manage and grow select clients’ brand presence across social media channels, including, but not limited to, Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, X, Threads, YouTube, Pinterest, Reddit and others. 
  • Manage content calendars and develop organic content for both owned and earned social channels, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and LinkedIn.  
  • Use Edits and/or CapCut to develop engaging Reels for clients as needed, and/or work with agency’s content strategist to outline on-trend content for clients.  
  • Handle community engagement for applicable clients. 
  • Leverage measurement tools to compile monthly client reports, while continually seeking ways to improve on those metrics through testing and new initiatives.
  • Conduct regular training/update sessions with client social media teams and BPR’s internal team regarding social media best practices, as needed. 
  • Assist with client reputation management, to include responding to comments on consumer review platforms such as Facebook, TripAdvisor, Google and Yelp. 
  • Assist with development of e-newsletters for applicable clients.  
    Support company’s social media presence and strategy through post creation, community engagement, blogs and more.  
  • Assist with ongoing advertising strategy for clients, outlining objectives, target markets, ad creative and campaign spend on a weekly, monthly or one-off basis, depending on client budget and needs.
 

 

Other reasonable duties as assigned. 

  • Manage interns and junior staff, as assigned.
  • Participate in new business outreach and RFPs as needed.  

Compensation

  • Salary starting at $70,000, commensurate with experience. 
  • Three weeks paid vacation, plus one week flex time between Christmas and New Year’s Day. 
  • Bumps to four weeks after three years of employment with company. 
  • Six days of paid sick leave.  
  • Three paid volunteer days. 
  • Health, vision, and dental coverage. 
  • Approximately 12 paid holidays a year (based on the calendar), in addition to the aforementioned Christmas/NY week.
