MEET BPR’S NEW ACCOUNT COORDINATOR, SARAH!

After joining Team B in January as an intern, we’re excited to welcome Sarah Hoffner to the team full-time as an Account Coordinator.

A graduate of the University of Northern Colorado, with a B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communications and an emphasis in Public Relations and Advertising, Sarah prides herself on conscientious communication and building meaningful relationships. She has a background in several client-facing roles in public relations and marketing.

Prior to joining the BPR team, Sarah spent two years in the San Francisco Bay Area, working for KQED – the Bay Area’s largest public media station – assisting with multi-platform marketing initiatives and public relations efforts for the station’s foodie programs including Emmy-nominated Jacques Pépin Heart & Soul. She’s also been an assistant account executive at boutique public relations agency, Allyson Conklin Public Relations, focusing on beauty, home and lifestyle brands.

When she’s not in the office, you can find Sarah seeking out a chocolate chip cookie, a dog to pet, a sunny patio to enjoy a beer and probably daydreaming about pizza. Here’s a little more about Sarah, in her own words:

About what aspect of joining BPR are you most excited?

The easiest answer is the team. It is a group of strong, intelligent women, and they’re inspiring to be around every day. Also, although I grew up here, BPR is giving me a chance to explore Colorado in a way I haven’t before. I love that.

Favorite restaurant or happy hour (or undiscovered):
Uno Mas. Chips and guac forever.

Any secret talents we should know about?
I’ve got faces and accents for days (primarily Southern, mostly annoying).

What is at the top of your bucket list?
Travel more, period. I’ve barely been out of the country or on a vacation in the last five years.

What is your favorite place to which you have traveled?
New Orleans will always hold a special place in my heart.

If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go right now?
I’d probably head straight for the PNW to Portland, Ore. to visit my sister, eat at Pok Pok and grab an ice cream sandwich from Ruby Jewel.

What is your favorite thing about living in Colorado?
After living in the San Francisco Bay Area, I have a new-found love for the seasons here. I’ve always loved fall, but I couldn’t seem to get enough this past year, and I’m finally giving snow the chance it deserves.

What is the most spontaneous thing you have ever done?
Moving to California with only two suitcases and my fingers crossed.

Aside from the necessities, what one thing could you not go a day without?
My sister. We are crazy people and very rarely go a day without speaking. I consult her on everything – from major life choices and relationships to lunch and outfits.

If you could only have one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Pizza of all shapes, sizes and styles. I don’t discriminate.
