MORE EXCITING NEWS AT BPR!

The team at B continues to grow. Today, we announce the addition of Merideth Milliner as social media and digital manager. Merideth joins the team with many years of digital media and strategy experience. She was most recently a member of the eCommerce team at Stonebridge Companies and was previously with New England-based Lafrance Hospitality.

Merideth moved to Denver from Massachusetts a little over two years ago, and is originally from the Seattle area. She received a B.S. in Marketing and a Masters in Business Administration, both from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. In her new role at B Public Relations, Merideth will be responsible for developing and executing strategic, business-to-consumer social media campaigns across a variety of channels, content management and growing client presence within the digital sphere.

When she is not working, Merideth is planning her wedding, experimenting in the kitchen, exploring Colorado with her dogs and planning her next travel adventure.

What aspect of joining BPR are you most excited about?

The unknown! As this is a new position for the company, I look forward to being a part of the growth, and getting involved with client strategies, many of which will begin to expand digitally now that BPR has a dedicated social media position in-house.

What is your favorite type of cuisine, and where is the best place to get it?

Being an East Coast girl, I’m a sucker for seafood and sushi. Sushi Den is my favorite sushi restaurant in Denver, however, I’m always up for trying a new spot.

What made you decide to pursue Marketing in college? What made you decide to pursue your MBA?

I was an undeclared business major during freshman year and quickly learned that marketing was what I wanted to focus on. I loved the strategy and consumer behavior elements immediately.

I was fortunate to have a wonderful professor my senior year who turned into a mentor; I started working at the research center as an undergraduate research assistant, and was offered a great opportunity to pursue my MBA while working as a graduate assistant.

Aside from necessities, what one thing could you not go a day without?

Lip balm – if you live in CO, or have visited, you understand why 🙂

Do you have a favorite family recipe or dish you especially enjoy preparing?

I love baking. I stumbled upon an amazing carrot cake recipe last year that is in high demand among friends and family.

Name three items you would take with you on a deserted island.

This is a tough one! I asked my fiancée for his input and he suggested wine, my dogs and a hammock. Sounds like a vacation to me!

Is your ideal vacation on the beach, in the mountains, in the city or elsewhere?

I love long weekend getaways, so all of the above! I have a goal to visit at least one major city in every state, and I try to get back to the east coast for vacation at least once per year.

What is the most unusual thing you’ve ever eaten?

Alligator…I’ll stick to my seafood.

What does your ideal Sunday consist of?

Brunch, sunny weather to either hike or go to the dog park, and a cookout with family and/or friends.
