2015 was an exciting year full of growth, accolades, a move and more. We were fortunate to once again have been a part of numerous client milestones, while experiencing a few of our own as well. Here’s a quick look at some of the excitement we enjoyed in the past year.
The addition of Catie, Merideth, Chelsea and our digital practice
The second half of 2015 was a time of growth, as we welcomed Merideth to Team B in the capacity of social media & digital manager in April. Shortly after, we expanded again as Catie, our former intern, joined the team full-time as account coordinator. In October, we were fortunate to welcome Chelsea, in the role of assistant account executive. With the growth of our team came expansion of our capabilities. We are thrilled to now offer full-service social media and digital strategy, including website development, content creation, paid social media marketing and influencer relations.
Our clients won a slew of national awards
St Julien Hotel & Spa and Hotel Teatro appeared on Conde Naste Travelers’ Reader’s Choice Awards as two of the Top 15 Hotels in the West. Root Down DIA, a Mission Yogurt, Inc. restaurant, was recognized as Airports Council International-North America’s 2015 Best New Food and Beverage Full-Service Concept. Cart-Driver was named one of the 21 Best New Restaurants in America by Eater. Outside Online named the Town of Frisco one of the top ten holiday towns to escape to for an adventurous Thanksgiving. Renaissance Denver Downtown and Gravitas Development Group were finalists in the ULI Colorado Impact awards, and Rod Tafoya of Mission Yogurt was named a finalist in Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year Awards.
We expanded our client roster with exciting new brands
We were fortunate to welcome a variety of new brands in 2015, including the Town of Frisco, Cheese+Provisions, The Fort Restaurant and Sarto’s Social Italian Eatery. Team B also welcomed Hotel Teatro back to our client roster. We’re lucky enough to be able to choose to work with people and brands in which we believe, and we’re so excited to have added these to our amazing list of clientele.
It was a bittersweet day when we outgrew our office at 2500 Larimer St. Our team loves the emerging RiNo neighborhood so much that we relocated just five blocks north, to 3070 Larimer St. The new space is a bit different compared to our shipping container office, with high ceilings and brick details, and it provides ample space for our growing agency.
BPR was a recipient of a national 2015 Bronze Anvil Award of Commendation – the only Colorado firm to receive the award this year. Team B was also proud to take home three PRSA Colorado Gold Pick Awards, for “The (Literal) Launch of Stanley Marketplace” press conference, a 2014 New York City Media Tour for St Julien Hotel & Spa and our work with Denver International Airport on “A PAWparazzi-Worthy Press Conference,” featuring Paradise 4 Paws Denver. Additionally, we were the first agency partner to be recognized with the inagural PR Amplification Award from Hard Rock International’s Annual North America Conference.
